Malcolm Ashman trained as a graphic designer, however, he went on to develop his very individual style in oils and watercolour, and has exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions. Malcolm Ashman has published many illustrated books including 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Alice through the Looking Glass', the illustrations for which were both subjects of solo exhibitions.

Malcolm's strong sense of design and his gorgeous combining of colours is demonstrated in these four dog paintings. The heart warming images are imbued with a sense of humour and a feeling of place.

Malcolm Ashman's contemporary landscapes capture the vastness of skies and the textures of the land through his mastery of paint. He is a member of the the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Society of British Artists.
